The country's power facilities have come under increased strikes in the past few days

Throughout the evening, Moscow's aerial assaults have resulted in electricity outages in large parts of the capital city, Kyiv.

Several individuals were hurt while inhabitants in the city's east were plunged into darkness and encountered interruptions to water supplies, per reports from local authorities.

Simultaneously, a seven-year-old child was fatally injured in a separate assault in the Zaporizhzhia region in the country's south-east, as reported by local officials.

Moscow has escalated attacks on electrical systems over the past few days, while the country's government has called for "concrete actions" from partner nations to increase pressure on Russia.

Officials stated that hundreds of unmanned aircraft and more than 30 rockets struck the country's power systems, labeling such strikes as "cynical and calculated" and against "everything that sustains normal life" as temperatures become colder.

Energy officials said Moscow was "launching a major assault" and repair crews were working to fix the damage.

A barrage of missiles struck power facilities and residential structures in the capital.

Several of the people hurt in the attacks on the city have been transported for medical care, according to local officials.
